What is a Care Group (CG) and why the need to be in one?
Acts 2:40-47, indicate that the early Christians meet in homes for the teaching of the word, prayer, ministry and fellowship. Many needs of the people are met in smaller group.

In the HTC Care Groups, we meet together either in the home of one member or in the church during the week days for worship, teaching of the word, prayer, ministry and fellowship.In these smaller groups, church members can testify that they are blesses in this community life.

Presently, there are four groups meeting in the home and four groups in our Church. We want to encourage those who are not yet in any Care Group to consider joining one.

The following are the present Care Groups :

CHILDREN

The Holy Trinity Children's Ministry is commited to teaching and training the children in the word of God.
The BIBLE is the ultimate source of every Lesson because it is "God-breathed and inspired and is useful for teaching,
rebuking, correcting & training in righteousness" (2 Tim 3:16). Children are taught God's word in fun and creative ways.

LEARNING GOD'S WORD IS FUN!
Sunday school time is fun time!
Children play ice-breaker games, sing praise & worship songs, learn memory verses and
have Bible Lesson and Group Time.

CHILDREN EARN POINTS
Children get a chance to earn points which can be redeemed for goodies at certain times of the year. Every Sunday, points are given for attendance, participation and good behavior. The more points you earn, the more goodies you can redeem!

ARTS AND CRAFTS
Children are taught different unique and interesting arts and crafts activities. Important points of the lesson or applications of it are emphasized in the arts and crafts time.

HA! HA! SHOP
Time to enjoy the fruits of their labor! A Bazaar full of toys, gifts, sweets and goodies are set-up every six months for the children to ¡°go shopping¡± using their hard-earned points. Sometimes, auctions for prized items are also held. The highest bidder takes home the goods.

OUTREACH PROGRAM
The Children¡¯s Ministry is dedicated to seek and save the lost. Working hand-in-hand with the church family, the Children¡¯s Ministry has outreach programs in the local community and overseas.

With the consent of their parents, some children get a chance to experience going on mission trips to teach the Word of God in different places in the world.

OUR DESIRE:

N- Nurturing (Definition: Bringing up, fostering, care; nourishment.)

The ministry hopes to be like the shore mentioned in Luke 5:11 where our young people are able to park' their lives, surrender all that they are to God and allow Jesus to lead as they follow Him.

E- Empower (Definition: Give power or authority to.)

The ministry hopes to empower young people, not with earthly power or authority but with the empowerment which God has given to all His children, leading them to live a victorious life in Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.

T- Transform (Definition: change form or appearance or condition or function.)

The ministry seeks to see transformation in identity and purpose in life of young people, just like the fisherman becoming fisher of men and their purpose changed from livelihood to God's great commission.

OUR PURPOSE:

Net is one main instrument necessary for fishermen with its main function for catching fish. The ministry resembles the net because of what it is and what it does.

The ministry is an instrument for God's purpose. God is fully in charge of this ministry and it is His purpose that we seek in all that the ministry does.
The ministry's main function is to catch people for God. If the ministry does not catch people for God or have the Great Commission in its agenda, it loses its functionality and will become useless.
Therefore let God fully utilize this ministry for the expansion of His Kingdom and for His glory alone.
