NETS Ministry- OUR DESIRE:
N- Nurturing (Definition: Bringing up, fostering, care; nourishment.) The ministry hopes to be like the shore mentioned in Luke 5:11 where our young people are able to park' their lives, surrender all that they are to God and allow Jesus to lead as they follow Him.
E- Empower (Definition: Give power or authority to.) The ministry hopes to empower young people, not with earthly power or authority but with the empowerment which God has given to all His children, leading them to live a victorious life in Christ and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
T- Transform (Definition: change form or appearance or condition or function.) The ministry seeks to see transformation in identity and purpose in life of young people, just like the fisherman becoming fisher of men and their purpose changed from livelihood to God's great commission.

Net is one main instrument necessary for fishermen with its main function for catching fish. The ministry resembles the net because of what it is and what it does. The ministry is an instrument for God's purpose. God is fully in charge of this ministry and it is His purpose that we seek in all that the ministry does. |
